The Florida Apartment Association just awarded EOS Apartments as a Gold Certified Smoke-Free community. This accolade certifies no smoking is allowed throughout the entire community.

Florida Apartment Association reports “Smoke-free multifamily housing is in demand among Florida’s renters. In fact, more than 83% of adults in Florida do not smoke, and four out of five of them would prefer to live in smoke-free housing.” This award coincides with the construction milestone of completing all units, with authorization to release final apartments to prospective renters.

“From the ground-up, EOS Apartments was designed to provide East Orlando a community without compromise,” says Jorge Sardinas of Catalyst Development Partners. Sardinas continued “Establishing EOS as smoke-free community, before even opening the first apartment unit to prospective renters, was an easy decision. The fundamental vibe at EOS is aligned with the elements of Air, Water, Earth and Wind to evoke a healthy way of life.”

EOS Apartments is East Orlando’s newest luxury multifamily development with 296 units developed by Catalyst Development Partners, with capital partner, Bluerock Residential Growth REIT (NYSE MKT: BRG). EOS is a featured component of Town Park – a Publix anchored retail center near University of Central Florida, Central Florida Research Park, Waterford Lakes Town Center and Quadrangle Office Park.

Located at 12221 E. Colonial Drive; right off FL-408, EOS offers: private courtyards, tranquil fountains, hammocks, gardens, outdoor fireplaces and a grand pool; clubhouse includes central kitchen, full media lounge, complimentary WiFi, cyber café with gourmet coffee and refreshments, pet boutique, fitness center, tanning booth, conference room and entertainment space with billiards. This smoke-free community also offers electric car charging stations, a pet walk and picnic areas.

“EOS Orlando has been an impeccable project,” says Michelle Myers, Greystar Marketing Associate, “Having received Final C/O, EOS has now released all available units. Tours have been constant since opening, and I couldn’t be prouder of the brand development and teamwork on this project.”

EOS is professionally managed by Greystar to offer studios, one and two-bedroom apartment homes ranging from 488 to 1,199 square feet of living space. Interior finishes include granite countertops, glass tile kitchen backsplashes, two-tone cabinetry and wood inspired plank flooring. Floor plans incorporate gourmet kitchens, stainless steel appliances, garden tubs, nine-foot ceilings, walk-in closets, and full-size washers and dryers in most units.

“EOS is among the most innovative and promising developments in East Orlando” said Ramin Kamfar, Chairman and CEO of BRG. “Thoughtfully conceived from its inception, EOS has been custom-crafted to suit the needs of a vibrant and contemporary population. Solidifying our standards as a recognized smoke-free community is a huge win.”
